On July 7th, 2017, in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, the 4th SDS Futures Industry Technology Symposium Held Successfully. Around the theme ‘Venture deep see together and create a new era’, the Symposium tries to give a clear presentation over SDS’s efforts in ‘lifting the services to futures industry to a higher level’. Working closely with the technological subsidiaries under big exchanges and major network platform developer partners in the industry, SDS has successfully launched the SDS Finance Platform to provider futures users with all-round services.  

Dr. Zhang Jianfeng, the General Manager of SDS, addressed the opening ceremony. First, he expressed gratitude to all guests for every support and help they had been so kindly giving. Then, he said that in the past a few years, SDS carried out a series of independent development projects on the basis of its traditional business. Now, SDS has already been able to provide some Cloud computing services via a new generation Cloud computing management platform of which it owns all intelligent property rights. In future, the SDS new generation Cloud computing management platform would integrate all traditional IT architectures and provide users with all-round support to public Cloud, private Cloud and mixed Cloud applications.

Mr. Bao Kai, Marketing and Sales Manager of SDS, told everyone in the presence, “SDS was founded on July 6th, 1999. And today is the first day of our 19th anniversary. It’s a great pleasure that, on the first day of the 19th year in our history, we could have you here with us in Taizhou to discuss how to promote the development of our industry. Starting from Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, Shanghai, where we base our HQs, SDS has been unremittingly developing both domestic and global markets. Starting from broadband services, SDS, as an IDC service provider ensuring the highest possible quality, is committed to developing special communication services for finance industry and is going to move toward the rising Cloud computing industry. Step by step, following the guideline of providing customers with products and services at the highest quality and security levels, SDS is always on the way of innovation. It’s our wish that here, today, my distinguished guests would discuss with us the future technical development of the industry to lift the IT services in futures industry to a higher level, just as the tagline said, let’s venture deep see together and create a new era!”

Next, Mr. Zhang Zhigang from Shanghai Financial Futures Information Technology Co., Ltd. gave an introduction on its finance platform, the YiXianTong (YXT Platform). The YXT Financial Date Exchange Platform can be used in futures, banking, stock brokerage, fund and other sectors of the financial market. But most importantly, it helps users to deal with money transfers between bank accounts and futures accounts, i.e. the in and out of money between a futures investor’s accounts. Now, it has begun supporting more services, including inter-bank-derivative accounts transfer, main seat and secondary seat synchronizing, crude oil forex settlement and selling, file-swapping, etc. 

Mr. Zhang Ziyang from Zhengzhou Esunny Information Technology gave a speech on ‘The Arbitrage Heading for Future’. Mz. Han Yu from Dalian Futures Information Technology (DFIT) delivered a speech ‘An Exploration on Theories of Risk Management in the Era of Derivatives’. She said, “The DFIT Fast Trading Counter is offered in three versions, i.e. the one exchange version, the double exchange version and the quad-exchange version. The One Exchange Version is designed for high-frequency traders in Shanghai and Dalian area. Boasting of a very low internal time delay, it is a sharp weapon for all trading. The Quad-Exchange Version can support the transactions in-between four futures exchanges and the trading of overseas crude oil and iron ore contracts.”

ZhiDa Software and RohonInfo, two excellent service providers in the industry, gave introductions about their industrial solutions respectively. Where the ZhiDa is superior is the advantageous channels to multiple arbitrage platforms that can meet specific needs of different customer groups. Where the RohonInfo leads is single digit microsecond-level inter-platform information exchange speed. It has the currently fastest information management system in the market. Consequently, it has occupied a rather large share of domestic fast trading futures market and been spoken highly of for that reason. Nearly 50% business operators in financial futures industry have their services hosted in SDS. All-together, these services contribute over a hundred million output value in RMB. Currently, the SDS IDX Cloud Service has become a rising star in the market and been well recognized for meeting market needs ahead of others. Now, several of our customers from the futures industry have already begun taking part in the IDX Cloud business. While maintaining their traditional private line products unchanged, they spoke highly of the SDS IDX Cloud.  

In the 4th SDS Futures Industry Technology Symposium, people shared their insights on the technologies concerning some of the latest hot topics in the futures circle and looked into the details of the latest regulatory policies. Representatives from futures companies also took the opportunities to introduce the surprising changes in their business operation after establishing a cooperative relation with SDS and express their expectation to enhance the cooperation in the future.
