On October 19th, 2017, in Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong East, where the AWS Lifespan Industry Technology Exhibition was successfully held, SDS introduced its DX (direct connect) Service, a top quality product in the industry, to all distinguished guests in the presence.

The lifespan development industry is an IT-based data-driven industry. In recent years, the rapid development of Cloud computing technology has given many industries highly flexible architectures and, in the same time, encouraged many companies operating in the lifespan development industry to go Cloud. After the migration, the most important question before all Cloud users becomes: Is the connection speed fast enough? In cooperation with AWS, after a resource team invested a great deal of efforts, both parties launched the DX Service that could perfectly solve the problem.  

Direct connect (DX) allows a customer connect its facilities with the AWS Cloud platform and use all the special AWS Cloud services the platform provides. In data centers, offices, or hosting environments, the DX Service users will be able to use all AWS Cloud services in a very fast, efficient and effective way. This would give them such advantages as lower network cost, higher bandwidth throughput, and a much more consistent network experience, in comparison with the same available on the internet. But there is one thing not so perfect: the connection modes that AWS provides are rather limited, so are their application scenarios.  

As AWS’s cooperative partner in Direct Connect business, SDS has already developed some more flexible connection modes to largely improve users’ Cloud experience.
