The SDS was founded in July 1999 with the investment from Shanghai Yinghong Investment Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Dazhong Transportation (Group) Co., Ltd., ZIJIANG ENTERPRISE and other investors, in a project initiated by two great state-owned enterprises, i.e. ZJ INNOPART and Shanghai Telecom Industry, with the kind support from Pudong New District Government.

Based on the business license of data center (IDC), Internet access, fixed network data transfer and Cloud computing from China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the SDS is mainly engaged in businesses involving Internet data center, network communications, and communication and value-added information services and providing governmental authorities, financial institutes and all sorts of enterprises with products and solutions ranging from data center support, Cloud computing, Internet access, dedicated data line and network security services.

Currently, the SDS’s total assets are worth over RMB 600 million. In 2018, it realized sales revenue of over RMB 500 million. With the hard-work of 260 employees, it has been honored with the titles of Shanghai High & New Tech Enterprise and Shanghai Little Tech Giant Enterprise.

From the first day of its establishment, the SDS has been committed to making due contributions to the construction and development of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park. With the kind support of the Pudong New District Government, we invested all-together RMB 100 million in developing and building the ZhangJiang New Network, weaving every building in the entire High-Tech Park into one broadband network of optical fiber communication lines. As it turns out, the ZhangJiang New Network efficiently and effectively improved the communication and info-environment of the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park.

Since 2003, the SDS has invested over RMB 500 million in building four brand new data centers (Total floor area: over 30,000 square meters) in Zhangjiang and Jinqiao in Shanghai. When the project was done, the SDS immediately had the capacity of providing both Shanghai local financial industries (Banking, Futures, Stocks, Third-party Payment, Forex) and foreign investments located in Shanghai (in biomedicine, IT, manufacturing industries), and R&D and innovating enterprises in the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park with the powerful support from over 4,000 computing cabinets.

Up to now, there are over 1,100 companies that have selected us as their service vendor. Relying on two decades of experience in operating data-center and network communication business and a stable and strong construction, operating and R&D team, the SDS is able to provide all sorts of organizations in the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park with high quality communication and information services and provide domestic and international enterprises operating in finance, manufacturing, R&D and innovating enterprises operating in Shanghai with high-quality data-center and Cloud computing services.
