On June 25^th, 2019, Shanghai Tower, DCD Data Center International Summit Shanghai Session ended in great success. As the joint sponsors of the Shanghai Session, SDS and DCD launched a technical innovation VIP guests meeting around the theme, ‘Enable Enterprises to Realize Resource Upgrading and Digital Transformation’, to share with the participants the leading-edge products and successful implementation cases that SDS had delivered in the last six months.

As the state tightens the control over data center industry with stricter policies, it’s essential for all third-party data centers to align themselves with Shanghai’s “Five Centers” and “Excellent Cosmopolitan” strategic goals when considering their self-positions in the market. As everyone knows, the construction and operation of third-party internet data centers require great investment in energy-saving and emission-reducing technologies and a precise docking with the modern industrial development needs of cosmopolitans in the world. It is foreseeable that in future, in Shanghai, all third-party data centers would have to re-define the business functions and scopes more precisely. Considering the scarcity of resources of third-party data centers, the IDX Data Center has set up a new data center in ZhangJiang Science City, Shanghai. Like the ones before it, the new IDX data center boasts of high design, building and installation standards, a high green operating level, and a great readiness for the digital transformation of modern industries!

 This is the 10^th Data Center Summit that DCD held in China. The 10^th Summit attracted over 1,300 experts in the data center infrastructure circle from home and abroad. Mr. Zhou Hanmin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal CPPCC, presided at the concluding speeches at the end of the DCD meeting. In his closing speech, Mr. Zhou pointed out that information infrastructure plays a very important role in promoting the integrated development of Yangtze River Delta. Consequently, discussions over the innovation and development of data center technologies are of great importance for the data center industry to ensure a successful development and for the state to successfully accomplish the strategic goal of integrated development of Yangtze River Delta. As is revealed in the studies of many experts, facing the tide of digitalization, all industries in China are making steady progress and the practices and innovation China achieved in this process will eventually benefit the development of digital infrastructure in the entire world！
