The New Year has come! With the great pleasure, allow me, the Editor, to share with you three achievements that SDS has made recently. It’s expected that these achievements or progress, although not very big, would help us lay an even better foundation for realizing our goals of ‘better quality, higher security and availability, and better services for our users’. We believe that, together, the smallest progress could lead us to the brightest future.

Here are three happy surprises we’d love to share about the improvements of security measures;
We are all out for your safety and security;
Wish all our IT people always outwit all troubles;
To ensure everything goes well toward prosperity;
1、 Antistatic Facilities in Use
In order to improve the safety and security of our computer rooms and prevent any unnecessary injury and damage to all people and equipments, the LanGuang Data Center will install antistatic devices at all elevator doors on November 3rd. The device will remove static electricity from human body and improve the safety of our computer rooms.
2、Construction of Additional Private Lines in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park
In November, to better meet the growing demand on private line service in Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, a new private line (OSN1500) was constructed to improve the data transmission between Jidiangang Phase 1 Project and our Kexian Road Computer Room in the Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park. Also, the plan of LanGuang Computer Room Transmission Network 2.5G Relay Capacity Expansion Project has been finalized.
3、SDS Mixed Cloud Platform Received a Special Fund from Shanghai Free Trade Zone
On December 5th, SDS’s Open-source-technology-based Mixed Cloud Platform Project passed the review of the Special Development Fund Program of Shanghai Free Trade Zone. We have received the Special Fund together with the approval. The Platform Project is designed to provide enterprises with high-end data access and value-added services via a mixed Cloud platform. In the same time, the Platform is required to guarantee the emerging of some technological achievements and maintain an acceptable output value and a large enough user group to pull forward the development of local Cloud service industry and eventually give rise to the public sharing, reasonable scheduling and using of data. The Platform Project is made up of following items, i.e. the construction of the physical platform, the construction of data Cloud service platform, the construction of mixed Cloud, and the construction of disaster recovery, monitoring and management platform.
In the past, month by month, year by year, there were tears in sweat, sweat in tears;
On our road to success, there were bitter sweetness and sweet bitterness;
But still, we chase our dream, put our heart in our dream and dream in heart;
In the SDS’s development, we are together, we have each other;
