The CQC data center site infrastructure evaluation is designed to evaluate the site infrastructure of a data center in a process of ‘on-site review, on-site witness testing, and follow-up supervision’. The evaluation results are classified into three levels, i.e. Basic Level (GB50174, Level C), Standard Level (GB50174, Level B) and Enhanced Level (GB50174, Level A), with the Enhanced Level being the highest level. An Enhanced Level data center should have its site infrastructure guarded with a fault-tolerance system and free from any electronic information system (EIS) failure or interruption caused by any operational error, equipment failure, power outage, or any maintenance or repairing activity.
